Catalinas

A Catalina is a coupon that prints out after you've paid for your merchandise. There are 4 different types of Catalinas that may receive:

  • Dollar Off Coupons (e.g. Save $1 on your next shopping order) can be used on ANY future purchase.
  • Manufacturer Coupons. These come as a surprise because you never know when or if you'll get them.
  • Store Coupons. Target is good at this.  They don't print out manufacturer’s coupons. Instead, they print out their store's coupons. There's nothing wrong with this since you can easily couple them with a manufacturer’s coupon.
There are also times when you won't get any of these coupons but you'll receive a preview of an upcoming catalina.  This tells you when the promotion starts and which products qualify. You'll want to make sure that you buy the EXACT sizes, quantities and brands or you won't get the catalina.

In order to get your catalinas, make sure the green light on the catalina machine is on before your cashier starts scanning your items. If not, ask for them to turn it on. Sometimes your catalina still won't print and in this case, you'll want to call the company directly at 1-888-8COUPON or you can email them at ncsc@catalinamarketing.com  Make sure you have your receipt and item on hand to give them all the information they need.
